500g (1lb 2oz) brussles sprouts
30g (1 oz) butter
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
Zest ½ – 1 orange
- Cut the sprouts in half and peel any brown leaves.
- Bring a saucepan of water to the boil, add the sprouts and boil for 5 minutes, strain and cool with cold water if you’re not using immediately.
- In a pan melt the butter, add the ginger garlic and orange and fry for a minute.
- Add the cooked sprouts and fry on a high heat for 3 minutes.
